Our AGM on June 12th was well attended and we have two new committee members. Phyllis Brown gave an excellent talk on supporting an Asperger’s Syndrome child in school.

On Nov 17th we held the annual Saturday workshop. Maggie Johnson, a consultant Speech and Language Therapist based in Essex gave a fascinating talk on” Promoting Understanding of the Spoken Word through Active Listening Skills.” This event was a sell-out and was much appreciated by the audience.
Members of the Patoss East Anglia committee recently attended the inaugural meeting of the Cambridge Dyslexia Association. We hope to work closely with them in the future. They can be contacted at www.cambsdyslexia.org.uk

There will be an evening meeting at Dame Bradbury’s School, Saffron Walden, on Tuesday March 11th. Details on website very soon.

Resources:
Don't forget that we have a large number of resources to borrow. Our latest
purchase is the CTOPP assessment tests which are proving popular.
