On Tuesday 7th June we held our AGM. Our speaker was Mick Thomas of 'Microlink' assistive technology. The session demonstrated a variety of software and hardware, showing clearly how this could be useful within the classroom. Although the attendance for this event was disappointing the evening proved to be extremely informative and generated some interesting discussion between the members.

On Tuesday 12th October we will be holding an evening meeting. This will take place at Sancton Wood School, St Paul's Road, Cambridge and will start at 7pm. We will be showing clips from the BBC T.V. programme "Kara Tointon - Don't call me stupid". There will then be opportunity for informal discussion about the issues raised within the programme as well as any other points, comments or issues that members wish to share.

Our Saturday morning November workshop will be at the CPDC at Trumpington on Saturday 12th November. This will be a talk by the educational psychologist Jane Abdullah. Further details about this event can be obtained by contacting the committee.
