During the past year the committee has organised three excellent events: There was a Presentation of the new York Assessment of Reading Comprehension on 11 Nov 2010, which was of interest to local testers and was very well attended. Our regular spring event was a talk about dyslexia hardware and software from IANSYST on 11^th May. Finally we combined a strawberry tea with a talk and demonstration of NUMICON on 6^th July, after which we welcomed some new committee members at our AGM.

To celebrate the National Year of Communication we have scheduled a talk by Maggie Johnson, Speech and Language Therapist, on Saturday 12^th November from 9.15 to 12.30, at the University of Northampton, Park Campus. For details contact: Julian.brown@northampton.ac.uk
