In September we had an extremely interesting talk from Keith Lindley, Psychologist, who reported back on three recent conferences which he had attended and summed up current thinking on specific learning differences and neurodiversity. Keith stressed the importance of keeping abreast of developments and on taking care over the language we use with students and in reports to ensure that our language does not lead to our students being disempowered.. This was followed by a question and answer session which explored auditory processing difficulties and more general information of how Keith works with those whom he 'assesses'. The AGM followed.
