In June S H Patoss hosted Mr Mark Stewart talking about Left-handed Children - the right way to teach. This was a very practical evening and opened many right-handed people's eyes to the issues of left handers living in a right-handed world.
The speaker was followed by the AGM at which we bade farewell to Muriel Kent who had been a committee member for 16 years and Chairman for nine of those years. We welcomed Nicole Droulez as a new face on the Committee.
On 6th October we are hosting a fully interactive evening of memory magic! Andy Salmon self-styled Sir Linkalot ( who will hopefully teach me to spell diarrheia ). PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VENUE AND START TIME HAVE BOTH CHANGED FOR THIS SPEAKER. As our long-standing venue in Cosham has been closed, this meeting will be held at Banister Park Bowling Club, Stoneham Lane, Southampton SO50 9HT (Just off J5 M27). The new time is 6.30 for 7pm - 10.00pm, refreshments available. Cost: £10 (Full PATOSS members £5) accompanied children free.

Directions to new meeting venue:
From M27 Junction 5:
Eastbound: take 1st exit off roundabout
Westbound take3rd exit off roundabout
Continue down Stoneham lane past Concorde Club on the right .
Do a U-Turn at the mini roundabout back on yourself past the Concorde again then turn right.
Turn right again up a track just before the Bridge under the Motorway
The Bowls Club is the last building at the far end of the Sports Complex with its own large Car Park. PATOSS meeting is to be held in the upstairs hall.
