In October, Patoss members from Lambrook Haileybury School invited our group to a very useful hands-on computer evening looking at various programmes for literacy, study skills, mindmaps, touch-typing and Text Help.

Frances Emmett gave a really excellent talk on Sound Therapy in November. She discussed students' varying degrees of sensitivity to sounds and the remediation that can help their situations.

In our first meeting of 2008 Dr Sula Ellis gave a talk on psychological reports, typical problems that are noted and identified suitable materials to use with students experiencing such problems.

We usually meet on the third Wednesday of alternate months usually in members’ homes, and welcome to our meetings any professionals with an active interest in the topics. These have been mainly based on informal discussions and shared ideas, although speakers and demonstrations are also organised.
