A very industrious and useful meeting took place in September 2009. Members of Berkshire Patoss brought along copies of a variety of tests used for assessment of reading, spelling, working memory, etc. We were able to discuss their attributes with a view to purchasing a selection to be held centrally and which will be available for loan by our members. Many thanks to Anne for hosting the evening.

Catherine Elsey (a Paediatric Occupational Therapist) addressed our very well subscribed November 2009 meeting on the topic "The Role of Occupational Therapy with the Dyspraxic Student". Floor space was at a minimum, yet Catherine was still able to stretch out to demonstrate moves and techniques useful in both identifying and helping individuals with Dyspraxia. A thorough and informative handout was provided and Catherine answered a range of questions from a very stimulated audience. Thank-you Catherine for an excellent evening, and Lynda for hosting it. Berkshire Patoss Group AGM. This will be followed at 8.30pm by a talk by Debbie Farnfield on the work of the Adult Dyslexia Centre in Maidenhead. The venue is at Ann Bergman's home in Maidenhead.

Tuesday 23rd MARCH 2010: 7.30 for 8.00pm
Bring & Buy/Resources Swap at Judy Jones's home in Woodley.

THURSDAY 6th MAY 2010: 7.30pm (Refreshments from 7.00pm)
"Teaching Study Skills' - with Elizabeth Holtom (author of "Study Skills" book) - at Lambrook School, Winkfield Row, Bracknell, RG42 6LU. This is open to any subject specialists/ colleagues in mainstream schools.

MONDAY 5th JULY 2010 7.30 for 8pm. Strawberry Social. This will be held at Juliet's house in Binfield near Bracknell.

Certificates of Attendance will be given so that the evenings can be counted for CPD purposes. However, we do need to know in advance if you will be coming so we can have the certificates prepared. So please contact Juliet Date before you come at colin.date1@ntlworld.com or ring 01344 641936.
