In March, Berkshire Patoss held their AGM, followed by a “Bring and Share” session on new ideas and resources for spelling and other literacy areas.

Feedback and sharing information from the Patoss Annual conference started our May meeting, followed by an informative and interactive talk by Nikki Johns on Skin Sensitivity and Reflexes.

WEDNESDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER : 7.30pm (Refreshments from 7.00pm)
"Tuning in to Children" - Communicating from the Heart - with Anita Hughes – at Lambrook Haileybury School, Winkfield Row, Bracknell, RG42 6LU.
This workshop/talk will focus on what we mean by language, listening and communication. It will enable participants to explore 'how' we communicate with children and young people, where there are misunderstandings and how communication shuts down in the face of anxiety. Through this interactive workshop it is hoped that participants will understand their own communication styles better and feel more confident in building up children's self esteem and improving their emotional literacy.
