Devon Patoss has 55 members and a small committee. The committee asked the membership, last year, whether they were happy for the group to continue and were inundated with votes of thanks and appreciation for the effort that is put in to maintaining this local group.

The committee would like to present one major event each year and a series of local group events as requested by individual members. We have, for example, presented evenings on specific assessment materials which have been well received.

The committee are currently investigating the construction of a local website for information and signposting purposes in the first instance and later hope to add discussion forums for specialist teachers and a separate group for non-members.

Devon is currently involved in a project with National strategies and Dyslexia Action and a number of Patoss members have input in this project.
