Following the AGM for this year on Tuesday 18th March, we had a very practical and enthusiastic presentation of the Archway Learning Programme by its author Lynda Lunn. Using rainbow coloured, simple and inexpensive materials which can be created and used in various formats, Lynda has developed a reading/spelling teaching programme which really is appropriate for learners of all ages. There was also the welcome opportunity to review all the materials and discuss their uses with Lynda and other members.

The Summer Term meeting will be a presentation by Pearson Assessment of Assessment and Intervention materials on Thursday 26th June 6.00 – 8.00pm at the Dame Judith Professional Centre, Sundridge Close, Cosham Hants PO6 3JL Entrance £2 members £6 non-members.

Following a successful first support meeting of Sp LD teachers in the Southampton, West Hants and Bournemouth area, there will be an opportunity to view New Study Skills Materials on Thursday 10th July at 7.00pm in Hounsdown School, Jacobs Gutter Lane Totton Southampton SO40 9F.
