We have had a successful workshop in January 2009 on "How to support Handwriting". This was well attended and members gave good feedback.

We also had our AGM in April 2009, which was held at a local restaurant. The committee were re-elected and an enjoyable meal followed.

Future programme

We have a cheese and wine evening planned for later in June 2009 - to give members a chance to socialise and also talk about resources. Date and venue to be confirmed.

We are planning another Marjorie Lishman memorial lecture for early October 2009. We are in negotiation with a speaker and looking for a suitable venue. The theme will be looking for practical strategies to support dyslexic pupils. This event will be open to non-members for a small fee. More details to follow soon.
