We had a very successful talk by Anne Henderson on Dyslexia and Maths. This was the fourth of our Marjorie Lishman memorial lectures. Over 80 people attended and the evening was interesting and informative with positive feedback recieved.

We have also recently held our AGM which was combined with a meal in a local restaurant for 24 of our members. It gave us the chance to network and, of course, select new committee members. Two of our longstanding committee members retired and we now have new volunteers to help us take the group forward.

Future programme with time, venue and cost.

In June we hold our annual “Strawberry tea” – this is an afternoon for members to come and share resources and games – and enjoy strawberries and cream! This is held at one of our members house. It is free to group members and the cost of the refreshments are bourne by our local PATOSS budget.

We are planning workshops for the Autumn Term on Handwriting and Auditory Processing Disorder. The dates and venues for these are to be confirmed.
