Local Groups are a vibrant part of the PATOSS network. Founded by National Patoss to meet the needs of SpLD practitioners at a local level, they can adapt and respond to local requirements, offering services such as: network meetings, sharing best practices, CPD training events, access to local advice, a books and resource library.
Every local group aims to
- To provide a forum for members to exchange ideas and information
- To encourage links between teachers and with other professionals working in the field of specific learning difficulties
- To promote fuller understanding of specific learning difficulties.
Local Groups welcome any PATOSS National Member, of any category, to join and some offer membership to non-professionals. For those who have an interest in SpLD, whether you’re a Patoss Professional Member, SENCO, Psychologist, or a parent of someone with an SpLD…. there is something for everyone
