New Diagnostic Assessment Report formats introduced

SASC, the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee, following an extensive review and consultation, has introduced new formats for diagnostic assessment reporting.

These new formats may now be used by practitioners and they will be required for reports produced from 1 July 2020 for diagnostic assessments to be used as evidence for Disabled Students Allowances. They will also be required as underpinning practice for an SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate for reports produced from 1 July 2020.

SASC has also produced additional guidance to support the new formats. These documents are downloadable from the SASC website.

Patoss is providing training in the new report formats. See our Training and Events page.
