OnDemand: Bite Size 4 JCQ Access Arrangements Essentials: Centre Delegated or Online Application?

The Bite-size Essentials series has been fully revised and updated in line with the JCQ AARA regulations for 2021-22. This bite-size is presented by Lucy Merlo.


Each session addresses a key aspect of exam access arrangements providing you with a detailed overview of the relevant processes and regulations, ensuring that your knowledge and practice are up to date.

Course Description

The courses cover the following key areas:

Exam access arrangements: centre delegated or online application?

This session will consider all the available access arrangements, explaining which may be awarded through the centre and which must be applied for using Access Arrangements Online.  It will clarify additional requirements to ensure that you have full knowledge of which processes to use and when.

Target Audience

The courses are suitable for assessors, SENDCos, Access Arrangements Co-ordinators and Heads of Centre.


This course is on demand. Delegates will have direct access to the event in the ‘Online Events’ section of their account for two weeks from the payment date, and can watch as any times as they like during that period.

Course Materials

Delegates will be able to download handouts and print off to have with them while watching the recordings.
