OnDemand: JCQ updates for 2021/2022 – Meet the Experts

This webinar features a presentation from Nick Lait, Head of Examination Services at the Joint Council for Qualifications (​JCQ). Presented by Nick Lait (JCQ), Gareth Cadman and Louise Green.

Introduction

Nick’s presentation is followed by a Q&A panel session, providing information regarding the revised guidelines and how they will affect your practice.

The sessions are suitable for assessors, SENDCos, Access Arrangements Co-ordinators and Heads of Centre.

Course Description

The webinar begins with a presentation from Nick Lait, who will explore in detail this year’s updates to the Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA) regulations.

Nick’s presentation is followed by a Q&A session, in which Nick is joined by Louise Green, an experienced assessor for JCQ access arrangements, and Gareth Cadman, a practising SENDCo. The Q&A provides plentiful discussion of the regulations for 2021-22 as well as issues affecting SENDCos, assessors, and centre managers, enabling attendees to gain a better understanding of queries relating to their own practice and setting.

Pre-requisites

You will find it useful, during the session, to have access to a copy of the JCQ Guidelines, Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments 2021/22.

Timings/Access

This course is on demand and is a recording of a live event.

Delegates will have direct access to the event in the ‘My Online Events’ section of their account for two weeks from the payment date, and can watch as any times as they like during that period. Please allow a few minutes for it to appear, or refresh the page if necessary.

If paying by card (please ensure the billing address and card address match), access will be given within a minute or so. If paying by invoice, access will be given on payment of that invoice. You will need to check with your own finance department to see when the invoice is paid. If paying by BACS, you will need to give our finance department a day or so to link the payment to the invoice which will activate access.

Course Materials

Electronic copies of the handouts will be provided but delegates will be responsible for printing off their own copies as this event is online.
