Introduction

The SPaRCS is the new UK and Irish normed standardised group test of Spelling, Processing speed and Reading Comprehension Speed. Perfect for teachers struggling to find suitable, time-saving and up to date tests for students to complete. Highly suitable for access arrangement applications (reader, scribe and 25% extra time) and an excellent tool for year group screening in order to identify students that may need additional support and intervention.

Age: 13:0 - 18:11 year olds

Course Description

The SPaRCS assessment tool is ideal for Access Arrangements assessments and for quickly screening groups of students. It assesses Spelling, Processing Speed and Reading Comprehension Speed and all in under 40 minutes! The SPaRCS test was designed specifically for busy teachers and assessors and has a unique built in feature which can alert the examiner to when a student may be deliberately trying to score low. This short webinar, delivered by Educational Psychologist and test author Rebecca Good, will showcase the SPaRCS test, its features and how it can be used in schools for access arrangements and screening.

Timings/Access

This course is on demand and is a recording of a live event.
