Patoss Pathway Approved Courses

The PATOSS Pathway Process is an assurance framework linked to associate membership of PATOSS  which means that the course accredited through this set of course standards based on good practice as laid down by the Dyslexia-SpLD Trust is underpinned by shared standards of teacher training courses for educators who wish to teach and support learners with an SpLD. Please see Mapping Qualifications to Associate Membership of PATOSS. The PATOSS Pathway courses have all been mapped against these criteria.

To become an authorised course provider under this scheme organisations submit a portfolio of evidence  to have their course reviewed by independent reviews to make sure the standard of the course meets the criteria stated in the Mapping Qualification document. Their course authorisation means as a potential student of the courses listed below you can be assured that providers are committed to meeting these standards on the course, and that, on successful completion, you can apply for Associate Membership of PATOSS.

For the Patoss Course Provider Approval Process see this page: Patoss Course Provider Approval Process

PATOSS encourages course providers who are part of this scheme to attend standardisation meetings and develop good practice guidelines to ensure that high standards are maintained.
