On 23 February 2017, we were delighted to host a showing of the Film, The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia. The audience were inspired by the personal and uplifting account of a dyslexic student (Robert Redford's grandson), plus the accounts from experts and iconic dyslexic leaders.

Cake and popcorn were greatly appreciated and we finished with a table top sale of SpLD resources.

On 26 April 2017, speaker Fintan O’Regan, one of the leading behaviour and learning specialists in the UK and currently an SEN and Behaviour Consultant for the Schools Network, gave an entertaining yet serious talk on the theme ‘No two children are the same.’ Focusing his talk on pupils with ADHD and those with ASD, he linked current research with practical ideas on how to manage difficult behaviour. A thought-provoking session.
