Circle Solutions to Support Diverse Learners (using the principle of Circle Time but focused on solving issues and improving learning)

The pandemic is increasing the anxiety and concerns of all learners especially those who struggle with literacy. Circle Solutions and the ASPIRE principles will enable you to provide a safe and effective way to promote self-esteem with your online learning. It will also offer a positive return to learning now that schools are open again   

Course Description   

 

The webinar will be led by Dr Sue Roffey who is an international authority on social and emotional learning. Her Circle Solutions framework is based in the ASPIRE principles providing a safe and supportive space for students to learn problem-solving strategies for the challenges they face in their learning and in their lives. sue will explain how to form a circle in either the physical classroom or online.  Incorporating games, structured discussions and role play pupils are encouraged to work together to identify their strengths, find solutions and enhance a sense of belonging. incorporating circle solutions into your classroom is especially effective for dyslexic learners as it enables them to develop resilience and self-esteem. critical to academic success.    

The webinar will cover:

  • How to form and facilitate a Circle  
  • Creating an inclusive environment  
  • identifying strengths and developing a positive sense of self

Timings

This training course is for one hour 30 minutes from 3.30-5.00pm on 16th March. Delegates will have access to the recording of the webinar for two weeks after to watch as many times as they like.

Course Materials

There are no course handouts for thie course as it is interactive throughout the session.

Joining Instructions

Delegates will be sent a link to GoToWebinar where the course will be held a few days before. You do no need specialist software or an app to attend.
