UPDATE: Pre-16 Diagnostic Assessments

Just to update you. Department for Education have let us know that the Student Loans Company have now started accepting pre-16 reports for DSA eligibility written by APC holders. This includes a small backlog of pended applications.

This also applied to those written by HCPC registered psychologists.

So, for a student at any age, a diagnostic assessment that meets SASC guidelines produced by a specialist teacher assessor with an APC or a practitioner psychologist registered with the HCPC will be accepted as evidence for Disabled Student Allowance.
